Huntington Art Gallery Rehabilitation
- Southern California
Built in 1910 as a lavish residence for railroad magnate Henry E. Huntington, the Huntington Art Gallery exhibits his extensive collection of European art, rare books, and plant specimens in the property’s botanical gardens. This prominent art museum, research, and educational center has continued to expand into a world-renowned institution. Working in association with The Earl Corporation, ARG served as the lead design architect and preservation architect for the $25 million renovation and restoration of the historic mansion. ARG designed new art gallery spaces within the building and led the effort to restore historic finishes on the exterior and interior.
