Grand Canyon National Park: Albright Training Center
Located at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, the Horace M. Albright Training Center Campus was established in 1963 as one of two cornerstone training facilities for the National Park Service (NPS). An excellent example of Mission 66 architecture, the Center provides NPS employees with the essential competencies to perform a wide variety of skills. ARG designed a new administrative wing for the training center, rehabilitated the existing facility to provide state-of-the-art classroom facilities, and redesigned the apartment buildings for additional units. A reclaimed water system was designed to reduce water use in this high desert environment.
