Ansel Adams Gallery

Ansel Adams Gallery

Yosemite National Park, CA

Dating to 1925-26, the structures that comprise The Ansel Adams Gallery fit within the architectural context of the small-scale, Rustic style Yosemite Village. Yet, these unassuming buildings are distinguished for an association with the internationally acclaimed photographer Ansel Adams who lived, worked, and taught here between 1937 and 1981. ARG led the project team in the preparation of a Historic Structures Report, a Cultural Landscape Report and schematic design drawings in advance of a full rehabilitation project. ARG and its consultants are currently preparing design documents for the rehabilitation.
